I specialize in photographing artwork for museums and collectors. Over the years I have photographed over 10,000 objects. As an artist I have exhibited nationally and internationally
and am represented in several museum collections. As an educator I have worked for 42 years at Purchase College, SUNY and at Manhattanville College. I have had the opportunity to teach at the Royal College of Art in London, and in Burgos, Spain in SUNY Purchase's study abroad program.
These pages are a collection of work over a 40 year period. Early work was created using a 4x5
and 8x10 view camera and printed using the collotype and platinum/palladium processes.
My recent work is created exploring the possibilities of using an iPhone, Instagram and Photoshop. Themes explore light, air and water - influenced by the work of Turner, Steiglitz, and the Hudson River Painters.
Please use the contact page to contact me about acquiring images and for individual tutoring.
